Enclosure 1.

4:1

The petition of Tsang Shing-hing and others, Committee of the

Shaukiwan Public Dispensary, praying that they may be granted a site on which to build a Dispensary.

Through the instrumentality of the Registrar-General

who has seen to the necessary funds being secured, Shaukiwan is now enjoying the benefit of a Public Dispensary. At present a building rented temporarily is used for the purpose, but be as

it is too shall to accommodate the great number of patients who

call at the Dispensary every day, the petitioners have unanimously

resolved to build a permanent building for the Dispensary and have

found a suitable site near Bridge No. 9 at Praya, Shaukiwan West.

The Registrar-General has been good enough to obtain sites from

the Government for many other Public Dispensaries they therefore

veg him to do the same for them. A plan shewing the site selected

is attached.

Dated August, 1911.
